Product overview
Cytoplast Ti-250 titanium-reinforced, non-resorbable high-density PTFE membrane (25×36 mm posterior configuration). Formable for contouring and site maintenance; Regentex™ surface increases stability; resistant to bacterial penetration (per manufacturer data). Membranes can be trimmed to the desired shape. The titanium frame has low memory for easier placement. Thickness: 250 µm.
Clinical use
- Often used in ridge-augmentation procedures with onlay grafting, combining Cytoplast TXT-200 familiarity with the predictability of a titanium frame for space maintenance during guided bone regeneration
- Also popular for adding structural support when grafting 3- or 4-wall extraction sites
- Although primary closure is preferred in ridge augmentation, the high-density PTFE base (Cytoplast TXT-200) is designed to tolerate exposure when soft tissue provides 360° coverage around the membrane edges
Surface & options
- Textured Regentex™ surface increases area for cellular attachment, helping stabilize the membrane and reduce soft-tissue retraction
- Twelve configurations minimize the need for large adjustments to different defect sizes; membranes can still be trimmed to clinician preference
