Cytoplast™ Ti-250 titanium-reinforced membranes are often used with onlay grafting in ridge augmentation procedures, giving the clinician the familiarity of Cytoplast™ TXT-200 membranes plus the predictability of a titanium frame for space during guided bone regeneration.
These membranes are also popular for adding structural support when grafting 3- or 4-walled extraction sites.
Although primary closure is recommended in ridge augmentation procedures, Cytoplast™ Ti-250 membranes include a high-density PTFE base (Cytoplast™ TXT-200) designed to resist exposure as long as there is 360° soft-tissue coverage around the membrane edges.
The textured Regentex™ surface increases surface area for cellular attachment, helping stabilize the membrane and prevent soft-tissue retraction.
With twelve different membrane configurations, only minor trimming is needed to fit various defect sizes. However, membranes can be trimmed to the clinician’s needs.
