As biopolymers degrade, the patient's cells can rapidly and efficiently replace bone for excellent integration and osteogenesis. The graft mimics human bone, is mechanically strong, and resists shaping, screws and surgical fixation maneuvers.

Bovine bone matrix

Chemical structure and morphology similar to human bone; hard but not elastic and therefore fragile once proteins are lost during cleaning.
