Product name: Carbide Monster Hard Bur – 79EQ – for soft relining materials
Brand: Frank Dental
Material: Tungsten carbide
Origin: Made in Germany
Description:
Cutting efficiency and precision:
Tungsten carbide (WC-Co) burs deliver high cutting efficiency thanks to their hardness and blade geometry. Vibration is kept to a minimum, which improves operator control and maintains patient comfort.

Wear resistance and service life:
WC-Co alloy burs offer superior wear resistance compared with steel and other alloys. They withstand repeated sterilization and retain their cutting edges for a long time.

Heat control and tissue protection:
Because of their high cutting efficiency, only minimal, localized heat build-up occurs when used with light pressure, reducing the risk of damage to the pulp tissue. Chip clearance is optimized.

Material compatibility and versatility:
Suitable for a wide range of materials, including metal crown materials, composite and amalgam. Their metal-cutting properties make some designs particularly well suited to cutting metal.

Geometry and design:
Blade angle, helix angle and number of flutes directly affect bur performance. Aggressive (positive rake) blades cut quickly, while negative-rake or radial designs increase fracture resistance.

Care and handling:
Inspect the bur frequently for micro-cracks or edge damage.
Follow ultrasonic cleaning and appropriate sterilization protocols.
Avoid maximum pressure at high speeds; overloading shortens the bur's service life.
Choose a flute design that does not obstruct chip flow.

Important:
Tungsten carbide burs can break if knocked, dropped or subjected to impact. Use without applying pressure and take care not to drop or knock them.
