SIRONiTi APEX and SIRONiTi Air⁺ APEX

Safety is as valuable as gold. Prefer not to use any extra tabletop device when preparing root canals? With SIRONiTi APEX and SIRONiTi Air+ APEX you always have the right equipment for connection to an apex locator.

Both are equipped with a torque-limitation function: when the set torque is reached, the gold-plated magnetic coupling prevents the file from locking in the root canal due to retro-rotation. SIRONiTi APEX and SIRONiTi Air⁺ APEX — excellent for endodontics.

When the set torque is reached, the unique retrorotation feature gradually disengages the coupling to prevent the file from locking in the canal. The system provides safety for root canal treatments — treatment is even safer when insulation sleeves are used.

The patented gold-plated magnetic coupling does not wear out. Simply pull the sleeve onto the contra-angle and sterilize it after treatment. Turning the selection ring directly on the contra-angle is enough to choose the correct torque level among five available settings. You can use the enclosed Torque CARDS to find recommended torque levels for your individual file system. All standard nickel-titanium file systems Ø 2.35 mm can be used.

Easy and versatile

The contra-angle makes apex location even more comfortable: thanks to the gold clip, many electronic apex locators can be connected directly without a file clamp. With a 115:1 reduction ratio, SIRONiTi APEX is ideal for an electric motor. With a 66:1 ratio, SIRONiTi Air+ APEX suits an air motor.

A wide selection of endometric units can be connected to the gold clamp for apex location. Contact pins on the gold clamps are available in 2 mm or 1.5 mm diameter — one of these sizes will suit your endometric unit. When you also connect your apex locator measurement cable to the contact pin in addition to the mucosal electrode, you have a complete “endodontic system” at hand.
