MTA White — 2 applications
Mineral Trioxide Aggregate, MTA-Angelus is an endodontic repair cement composed of several mineral oxides.
It consists of fine hydrophilic particles.
When mixed with water it first takes on a gel consistency, then becomes solid and hard at the end of the procedure.
Indications
- Root canal and furcation perforations; internal resorption
- Retrograde canal filling
- Direct pulp capping and pulpotomy (in permanent and primary teeth)
- Apexification and apexogenesis
- Used for apical plugs before canal filling when the apex is wide
Advantages

- Does not lose its properties due to moisture in oral tissues.

- Biocompatible.
- Compressive strength is 44.2 MPa.
- More radiopaque than dentin and bone.
