RXDC Extend periapical X-ray unit — mobile
High-frequency X-ray system designed especially for digital X-ray imaging, with a 12″ collimator stored in memory. As a direct-current (DC) X-ray unit, exposure time is shorter and the patient receives less radiation.
- Handheld wireless switch for full control from anywhere
- Light, robust compressed-aluminium arms with integrated automatic balance system to minimize vibration during image capture
- Compact, light one-piece Toshiba D–041 DC tube-head design requiring little effort to manoeuvre
- Tube can rotate at least 310° on its own axis
- Circular and right-angle movement capability
- Spring arm to which the tube is attached can stay fixed in any desired position
- Maximum arm length 230 cm
- Through-wall option for easier compact installation in a through-wall compartment
- Can emit light for 0.01–1.000 seconds; exposure times can be increased or decreased manually
- 60 to 65 kV, 6 or 7 mA, 0.7 mm focal spot
