EXATEC-S Titan Standard fiber/titanium post set — 10 pcs

EXATEC-S active root posts are titanium with self-cutting saw-tooth threads. Fixation in a maximum of 3 turns without damaging dentin, at a relatively low torque of 7.9 ± 1.7 Ncm (*determined in a comparative doctoral study in 1994).

Optimizing root structure stability

The conical apical post section can be longer than a cylindrical form and ends very fine at the tip, allowing deeper placement in the canal. Conical form follows natural root anatomy, preserves more tooth structure at the critical apical area, and reduces fracture risk. At the most fracture-prone post–head junction, Exatec has rounded transitions and a larger cross-section than a cylindrical post of the same length — higher stability and improved flexural test values.
