Micro-invasive vestibular caries infiltrant for early smooth-surface lesions (up to D1).
Icon is a micro-invasive caries treatment for early lesions on smooth and proximal surfaces. Especially suitable for white spots after orthodontic bracket removal. For short-term (1–2 months) white-spot treatment after debonding, etching twice is recommended; if a white spot remains visible after Icon-Dry, a third etch is advised.
Starter pack contents: 2 treatment kits; 1 Icon-Etch syringe 0.3 ml; 1 Icon-Dry syringe 0.45 ml; 1 Icon-Infiltrant syringe 0.45 ml.
Indications
Treatment of early enamel caries (up to D1 depth) on proximal and smooth surfaces. Icon Caries Infiltrant – Vestibular is designed especially for smooth-surface application.
Contraindications
Not suitable for developmental enamel defects or defects from fluorosis, hypoplasia, abrasion, or trauma. Do not use for deeper lesions (D2–D3*) or when cavitation is present in enamel. Use only Icon-Etch on enamel surfaces.
