Dentsply Sirona EasyPost™ Fiber Post Refill
EasyPost™ is a composite combination of zirconia-rich silicone fiber–reinforced epoxy resin matrix. Longitudinal elastic modulus close to dentin and shear strength close to dentin. Mechanical properties are ideal for homogeneous reconstruction that minimizes root fracture risk.
Simple Preparation
Simple preparation by opening a central hole with a tungsten carbide round bur (followed by staged post-space enlargement with spreading burs and finishing with the matching EasyPost precision bur).
Properties
- Biocompatibility: documented non-cytotoxic (ISO standard 0993-5); chemically stable and biocompatible
- Radiopaque: for imaging and post-treatment monitoring
- Canal adhesion: sealing and chemical adhesion to reconstruction composite make mechanical retention like metal posts unnecessary
- Cylindrical-conical shape: sizes developed from DENTSPLY Maillefer post experience for best fit to canal anatomy even in very small canals; neck length easy to adjust with a diamond disc on the cylindrical portion; slight extension eliminates piston effect during sealing
