Osseo 100+ implant stability measuring device — osseointegration monitoring
Osseo 100 measures implant stability and osseointegration to optimize decisions on when to load the implant. Especially important when using protocols that require shorter treatment times and when treating higher-risk patients.
This simple, effective operation measuring ISQ (Implant Stability Quotient) allows implant loading time to be planned in advance. Failure risks during reconstruction of crowns and bridges can be anticipated and minimized. Because the equipment does not make physical contact with the implant or abutment, unnecessary impact risk is eliminated for a reliable measurement.
Procedure in 3 steps
- Attaching MulTipeg™: MulTipeg™ is attached to the implant and screwed effortlessly into the implant’s internal threads (approx. 6–8 Ncm torque).
- Targeting the magnet: aim at the magnet on top of the MulTipeg™ for a non-invasive, objective, accurate and repeatable measurement. The peg is excited by magnetic pulses and vibrates due to stiffness in the contact area between bone and implant surface.
- Generating the ISQ value: an ISQ value is calculated and shown on the display. It reflects stability level on the universal ISQ scale from 1 to 99. The higher the ISQ value, the higher the implant stability.
