Amanngirrbach Ceramill Matron Mill — 5+3 Axes

Ceramill Matron — High-performance 5+3-axis dental milling system

Amann Girrbach’s rigid machine design, Vmax arm technology, RFID-supported tool and material management, and a large 21.5-inch touchscreen support controlled, efficient CAD/CAM workflows for experienced users and labs starting digital production.

Maximum performance in metal machining

Metal machining can be kept in-house instead of outsourcing to an external milling center.

Power and precision with the Vmax arm

The Vmax arm combines high power with precision.

Product features

Ceramill Matron is designed especially for in-lab machining of CoCr and titanium. A high-rigidity frame and the Vmax arm help reduce vibration during milling for precision and surface quality.

The unique 45° placement of the A and B axes increases rigidity and supports vibration damping. A cast aluminum body, 6 mm spindle, and a large holder contact surface further support stability.

Easy, interactive operation

Experienced users can work quickly, while new CAD/CAM users can manage processes more safely.

Tools can be added in a plug-and-play manner. RFID technology recognizes tool data automatically and tracks tool usage.

Ceramill Matron uses a high-performance spindle at 80,000 rpm and 1.37 kW for demanding materials.

Key highlights

  • Structure optimized for CoCr and titanium machining
  • Vmax arm for power and precision
  • RFID tool and material management
