Ultradent Opalescence Endo Whitening for Non-Vital Teeth
35% hydrogen peroxide. Used to treat discolored endodontically treated teeth. Easy to place in the pulp chamber. Treatment period 1–5 days. Medical whitening for non-vital teeth (“walking bleach” technique).
After 1–5 days, whitening progress can be assessed and the procedure repeated if needed. The gel is colorless and highly viscous, so it is easy to apply into the cavity and to seal temporarily.
Note: Not intended for use after trauma or any sign of cervical resorption, or after multiple prior whitening attempts.
Opalescence Endo is ready to use, economical and has a long shelf life compared with self-mixed pastes that must be scooped from a dappen dish into the cavity.
