Calcium silicate bioceramic sealer that sets with moisture, seals hermetically, and supports single-cone obturation.

Calcium silicate absorbs moisture from surrounding tissues in the root canal and forms calcium aluminate hydrate (CAH) and calcium silicate hydrate (CSH) gels, with some calcium hydroxide crystallization.

Moisture in the dentinal tubules reacts with calcium silicate to produce calcium hydroxide crystallization, supporting sealing.

CeraSeal aims for a hermetic seal in the root canal, helps inhibit bacterial growth, and is designed to maintain stable volume without shrinking or expanding, which helps avoid odontoclastic activity.

Obturation can be performed with the single-cone technique. A shorter setting time helps reduce washout when MTA-based materials are not fully cured or when exudate is present in the canal.
