BISCO e-CEMENT resin cement kit
e-CEMENT is a resin-based luting cement system designed to simplify cementation of lithium disilicate restorations (e.g. IPS e.max®*). Lithium disilicate glass-ceramics can be produced at different opacity and translucency levels. The e-CEMENT system includes both light-cure and dual-cure cements, so it suits metal-free restorations across a range of light transmission. Strong physical properties support aesthetics and long-term retention.

- CAD/CAM blocks and pressable ingots

Light-cure pathway — thin, highly translucent restorations
1. Restoration preparation
- Step 1A: If not already etched by the lab, apply porcelain etch (4% HF) to the bonding surface — 25 s for lithium disilicate (follow lab advice for other ceramics). Rinse and dry.
- Step 1B: Apply one coat of porcelain primer to the intaglio; wait 30 s; air-dry 3–5 s.
- Step 1C: After removing chemical residues (organic residues from primer with phosphoric acid or ethanol in an ultrasonic cleaner if needed), rinse and air-dry.
2. Tooth preparation
- Self-etch: Prepare the cavity; rinse with water spray; remove excess water with cotton or suction (do not overdry). Prefer total-etch when bonding area is mostly enamel.
- Total-etch: Complete preparation; rinse; etch dentin and enamel with Select HV for 15 s; rinse thoroughly; remove excess water without overdrying.
