SDR Plus Eco bulkfill posterior composite — 2 × 1 g syringes
Unique SDR bulk fill technology. In 2009, SDR was the first technology to allow 4 mm bulk placement in a flowable consistency. With confidence from 50 million applications and many long-term clinical studies, it is the preferred bulk fill technology for faster, easier reliable direct restorations. SDR technology addresses two key challenges in direct restorations: adaptation and efficiency.
Adaptation is key to long-term success
- Studies show marginal gaps can lead to wall lesions and secondary caries, compromising restoration longevity.
- Gaps between cavity walls and restorations can directly cause secondary caries.
- Incorrect composite adaptation during placement causes voids.
- High shrinkage stress can lead to gap formation at the margins.
Low shrinkage stress
During light-cured polymerization, resin monomers move chaotically as they form the polymer matrix. SDR technology helps reduce stress by allowing a more relaxed network to form, lowering the risk of voids during polymerization. Shrinkage stress is shown as a ratio between SDR Plus material and competitors.
Flowability
SDR’s unique chemistry raises overall bulk fill restoration quality and long service life. SDR flowable bulk fill technology fills the cavity and adapts easily, flowing into all small voids for superior cavity adaptation during placement.
Direct restorations represent about one third of a clinic’s annual revenue. Increasing efficiency in Class II treatment has a direct effect on daily clinic income. SDR bulk fill technology allows application in 4 mm increments without an additional liner — reducing procedure time and inventory automatically.
- Self-leveling property saves up to 40% time vs classic layering technique
- No additional liner required
- Self-levels and needs no further intervention for adaptation
More shades
In addition to one universal shade, three new A-shades SDR Plus — A1, A2 and A3 — serve a much wider case spectrum including visible Class II restorations, primary posterior dentition, Class III and Class V restorations.
