GC everX Posterior is a fiber-reinforced composite designed for use as a dentin replacement. Its short fibers form an excellent substructure to support any composite restoration in large cavities. Its distinctive properties open new options for chairside restoration of wide cavities and provide an answer for economical restoration of large cavities.
Features and advantages
- Short fibers help prevent crack formation and crack propagation in the restoration and tooth.
- Fracture toughness equal to dentin and nearly twice that of other composites for unique durability.
- Minimal horizontal shrinkage (fibers reduce shrinkage along their alignment).
- Can be placed in 4–5 mm layers.
- Bonds reliably to the overlying composite and to tooth tissue.
