Accessory lip clip for the Propex Pixi apex locator. The Propex Pixi provides audio progress tracking with 4 volume levels.

Propex Pixi system features

Sterilization

The lip clip and file holder must be sterilized between patients. The fork tip sold separately also requires sterilization between treatments.

Notes from use

• When the OVER indicator lights, the minor apical foramen has been reached; the file can be withdrawn slightly and Propex Pixi will mark the 0.0 point. The monitor also works on withdrawal.
• Volume can be reduced or muted if sound concerns the patient; the device may alternatively be placed on the table beside the patient.
• The scale does not represent mm or any linear unit; it shows file progress toward the apex.
• Device dimensions: width 55.5 mm, height 64.5 mm, depth 17.5 mm.
• New battery: charge 24 hours before first use; partial recharge about 12 hours; a full new battery supports about 100–150 working-length determinations.
