Screw fragment removal set — instructions
Note 1: Preferably, the screw fragment should not have been attempted with other tools or instruments before using this device.
Note 2: All tools (burs) must be used rotating CCW (counterclockwise).
- Place the abutment into the implant.
- Fit bur no. 1 into the contra-angle, pass it through the abutment onto the broken screw, and apply pressure with your index finger. While pressure is applied, run the motor counterclockwise at 50–75 rpm (confirm counterclockwise rotation). If the screw does not come out, repeat with bur no. 2.
