Light-curing nano-hybrid composite for anterior and posterior regions, used in Class I, II, III, IV, and V restorations. Produced with barium glass technology. Thixotropic; does not stick to hand instruments. Excellent aesthetics. Wear-resistant and durable. Releases fluoride. Radiopaque. Supplied in 4 g syringe form.

CAVEX QUADRANT UNIVERSAL LC is a fluoride-releasing, light-curing Microglass radiopaque hybrid composite usable on both anterior and posterior teeth. Thanks to glass filler particle size, it can be polished to a very high gloss; used as an adhesive cavity restoration together with a universal bonding system (such as Quadrant Unibond).

Composition

• Main matrix is Bis-GMA based and contains 72% by weight / 60% by volume filler
• Ba-Al-F-silicate glass (0.02–2 µm)
• Highly dispersed silicon dioxide (0.02–0.07 µm)

• Restoration of Class I–V cavities
• Reshaping of previous restorations in these cavities
• Correction of discolorations
• Direct veneer crowns
• Splinting of traumatized teeth
• Closing diastemas
• Restoration of primary teeth
• Correction of developmental anomalies (such as enamel dysplasia)

Interaction with other materials

Restoratives containing eugenol disrupt polymerization of adhesives and should not be used together with these restoratives.
