Area of use
Glaze powder for porcelain crown and bridge work. Belonging to the alkali and bioceramic group, it is suitable for dental use.

Use and recommendations
Glaze powders give brighter results depending on chemical configuration or smaller particle size. Therefore, while keeping acid resistance constant, it is quite difficult to obtain glaze powders that gloss well at low temperatures. For this reason, in low-temperature applications, better gloss of glaze powders can be achieved by two separate procedures: first, increasing hold time at high temperature to 2–3–4 minutes without melting sharp contours, or following mechanical polishing as below.
Recommended firing program: starting temperature 550°C; pre-dry time 3–4 min. For much brighter glazes we recommend using our DIAMON mechanical polisher after glaze. Packaging: 28.4 g plastic jars.
