Controlled porcelain surface etching to improve cement bond.
Bisco Porcelain Etchant increases the bonding surface of porcelain to improve adhesion between porcelain and cement. The effect is similar to sandblasting, but more controlled and effective. It microscopically roughens porcelain or glass surfaces.
Use for etching porcelain veneers, crowns, and repairs of previously cemented porcelain restorations when etching is required. Barrier Gel from Bisco is also available when Porcelain Etchant sets are not sold as kits.
