Bioteck Collagen Membrane 15 x 20 mm
On contact with blood, collagen increases adhesion; used as a barrier to retain and/or protect the graft.
Rehydrate for a few seconds before use. Protection period is about 4–6 weeks; after that, barrier effect is no longer guaranteed and resorption begins.
Well suited for covering small defects where regeneration proceeds quickly. When dry it acts hemostatically and is initially rigid.
