What It Measures
Tests water quality based on calcium and magnesium ions, ammonia, sodium and similar organics, harmful organisms, and heavy metals such as chromium, zinc, lead, and copper. Approved for market use — measurement accuracy stated as 100% in source.
Reading Guide
- 0–50: Highest purity (drinkable)
- 50–100: High purity (drinkable)
- 100–300: Standard purity (drinkable)
- 300–600: Hard/limey water (drinkable but not recommended)
- 600–1000: Poor taste, low purity (drinkable but not recommended)
- 1000–9990: Not pure (definitely not drinkable)
0 means 100% pure drinkable water; waters scoring above 300 are not recommended for drinking.
