VITA VMK Master Margin — porcelain powder 12 g
This feldspar-based veneering porcelain is a highly aesthetic material ideal for porcelain-bonding alloys, especially for veneering non-precious metal frameworks. It works in the conventional CTE (coefficient of thermal expansion) range (13.5 to 15.2 × 10⁻⁶K⁻¹) and, thanks to its firing temperature and chemical/physical properties, provides extremely durable restorations.
Advantages
- Material without compromising safety or aesthetics: offers both safe and aesthetic solutions.
- Aesthetic restorations with vivid colours: highly aesthetic restorations with bright shades.
- Classic dentin–incisal layering scheme: compatible with traditional layering techniques.
- Wide porcelain options for individualization: comprehensive options to personalize restorations.
Physical data
- Dentin CTE: 13.2–13.7 × 10⁻⁶K⁻¹ (25–500 °C)
- Firing temperature: 930 °C (1st dentin)
- Transformation temperature: approx. 565 °C
- Flexural strength: approx. 90 N/mm² by 3-point test
- Bond strength: > 50 N/mm²
- Density: approx. 2.4 g/cm³
- Acid solubility: < 10 µg/cm²
- Average grain size: approx. 19 µm
