TDV Matrices Kit — Matrix & Elastic Wedge Set

Indicated for clinical procedures in dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, prosthesis, and integrated dental clinics.

Unimatrix use

• Unimatrix fixing clamp stabilizes the matrix without a conventional matrix holder
• Silicone protectors at ring ends improve matrix adaptation
• Position the clamp with Unimatrix pliers or absolute-isolation clamp forceps
• Place the sectional matrix in the interproximal space with the clipped end toward the gingiva, slightly below the gingival groove
• After restoration: remove clamp first, then wedge, then matrix
• Composition: Matrices stainless steel; ring nickel-plated carbon steel; tubes silicone

Matrices with fixing ring

• Adapt by compressing the ring; introduce matrix with clipped part toward cervical; flatten/bend ring end if needed; reshape with burnisher or explorer
• After finishing, cut off the fixing-system extremity to remove matrix without damaging the restoration
• Composition: Fixing system aluminum; matrix PET or stainless steel

Elastic wedges

• General use in restorative procedures to adapt matrices and/or separate adjacent teeth
• Fit wedge to forceps by its 2 larger holes; stretch until central part is thin enough to slide interdentally; place and release forceps; after use pull one end and cut at center
• Composition: Rubber and non-toxic colorants
• Professional use only; do not use if allergy to components is proven
