Icon Approximal — 7 treatment units
Micro-invasive caries treatment for initial caries on smooth and proximal surfaces. Icon Caries Infiltrant – Proximal for tooth-preserving treatment of early interproximal caries; Icon Caries Infiltrant – Vestibular for smooth surfaces — especially white spots after orthodontic bracket removal. After Icon-Dry, if a white spot remains, a third etching step is recommended; for short-term (1–2 months) white-spot treatment after debonding, double etching is suggested.
- Indications: early enamel caries on proximal and smooth surfaces (up to D1 depth)
- Contraindications: deeper lesions (D2–D3) or cavitated enamel; use Icon-Etch only on enamel surfaces; do not use on exposed dentin or cementum; not for developmental enamel defects, fluorosis, hypoplasia, abrasion, or trauma-related defects
