Step 1 — stainless steel GPR file (coronal to mid)

• Choose 1S/#70 or 2S/#50 based on canal size
• Place the file on top of the gutta-percha and rotate slowly
• Once the first flute catches, the file advances into the canal
• Pause 1–2 seconds mid-canal (before the curve); use a pull motion to clear debris

Step 2 — NiTi GPR file (mid to 1–2 mm short of apex)

• Choose 3N/#40 or 4N/#30 based on canal size
• Set the rubber stop 1–2 mm short of the apex
• Pause 1–2 seconds; clear remaining material with a pull motion
