EXATEC-S Titan Standard Set
EXATEC-S active root posts are made of titanium with self-cutting saw-tooth threads. Fixation is performed with a maximum of 3 turns without damaging dentin, at a relatively low torque of 7.9 ± 1.7 Ncm (determined in a comparative doctoral study in 1994).
Optimizing root structure stability
The tapered apical post section can be designed longer than a cylindrical form and remains very thin at the tip.
This allows the tapered Exatec post to be placed deeper into the root canal.
