Micro-invasive approximal caries infiltrant for early lesions (up to D1).
Icon is a micro-invasive caries treatment for early lesions on smooth and proximal surfaces. Especially suitable for white spots after orthodontic bracket removal. For short-term (1–2 months) white-spot treatment after debonding, etching twice is recommended; if a white spot remains visible after Icon-Dry, a third etch is advised.
Indications
Treatment of early enamel caries (up to D1 depth) on proximal and smooth surfaces.
Contraindications
Not suitable for developmental enamel defects or defects from fluorosis, hypoplasia, abrasion, or trauma. Do not use for deeper lesions (D2–D3*) or when cavitation is present in enamel. Use only Icon-Etch on enamel surfaces.
