TruNatomy™ is Dentsply Sirona’s latest creation in a long tradition of successful endodontic treatment solutions.

Features and information

• This tradition includes well-known brands such as ProTaper® and WaveOne®, trusted worldwide for reliability and performance.
• The new TruNatomy™ solution offers: a soft feel during preparation; improved performance and efficiency¹; more space for debridement and debris removal¹; respect for natural tooth anatomy; and preservation of tooth structure.
• Successful root canal treatment begins with adequate access to the pulp chamber. The ideal procedure reaches the canal orifices with minimal dentin loss. Remaining dentin is a critical foundation for a quality restoration after root canal treatment. Therefore, a Conservative Endodontic Cavity (CEC) is recommended with the TruNatomy™ system.
• The TruNatomy Orifice Modifier adapts the orifice shape to create an ideal entry for TruNatomy Glider and TruNatomy Shaping files. Because of its flexibility, diameter, and heat-treated NiTi alloy, this file can preserve coronal anatomy. It is also ideal when the canal does not enter the tooth vertically and may approach from different angles. The TruNatomy Orifice Modifier is basically recommended in the TruNatomy sequence.
• When an effective, reproducible glide path is created, the efficiency of root canal preparation increases significantly. The TruNatomy Glider optimizes the glide path and provides a smooth transition between a K-file and the TruNatomy Shaping files.
• The TruNatomy file runs at a higher speed for more efficient cutting with less torque. With only two cutting edges it encounters less resistance and therefore delivers precision with less pressure and greater ease of use. Heat treatment provides greater flexibility with improved fatigue resistance.
• TruNatomy Shaping files are available in three different sizes and lengths to treat a wide range of cases. While the TruNatomy Prime shaping file is suitable in most cases, two additional shaping files — TruNatomy Small and TruNatomy Medium — address both smaller and larger canals. The clinician will experience a fluid transition among TruNatomy™ Shaping files.
