Features
- T-endo Sealart is an epoxy resin–based root canal sealing material in a dual-syringe paste form.
- Excellent sealing and biocompatibility plus outstanding chemical and physical properties.
- Easy to mix with the dual-syringe system.
- Does not stain teeth.
- Does not dissolve in tissue fluids.
- Excellent biocompatibility.
- Good radiopacity.
- Working time: 35 minutes at 23 °C (73 °F).
- Setting time: 45 minutes at 37 °C (99 °F).
- Can be used with all root canal filling techniques, including basic and more current techniques.
- CE marked; complies with Medical Devices Directive 93/42/EEC.
- Suitable for thermoplastic methods and all condensation techniques.
Application
- Canal walls must be dry.
- SEALART should be carried into the canal with a lentulo or obturation cones (gutta-percha, silver, or titanium root canal cones).
- To avoid air bubbles and overfilling, advance a very low-speed lentulo slowly toward the apex.
- Withdraw the lentulo very slowly while still running at low speed.
- Dip the disinfected, dry master cone into SEALART and slowly push it into the canal with a pumping motion.
