Cotisen Aligner Chewies Bite Stick 2 pcs
Aligner seating aid (chewie). Replace when elasticity is lost or the piece breaks.
Made from food-grade silicone. Primary role is to seat the aligner firmly against the teeth so the planned orthodontic movement can occur.
Shapes and use
- Triangular prism: wedge force for anterior and premolar seating; can help open contacts
- Cylinder: higher bite force in the molar region; can also exercise masticatory muscles
- Cylindroid: seating in the posterior region
Place the aligner along the long axis of the teeth first. Do not bite the chewie until the aligner is fully seated, or the tray may distort or apply incorrect force.
