Ultradent UltraSeal XT hydro — Pit & Fissure Sealant Refill
UltraSeal XT hydro is a light-cured, radiopaque, fluoride-releasing composite pit and fissure sealant. Hydrophilic before curing, hydrophobic after curing, and self-adhesive, with advanced adhesive technology. It fluoresces under purple light so you can confirm the sealant is still in place.
High resin filler (53%), thixotropic ideal viscosity, two shades: Opaque White and Natural—less polymerization shrinkage than many competitors for a stronger, more wear-resistant material.
Handling
- The tip’s spiral brush motion causes shear thinning in the thixotropic sealant
- When shear thinning stops after placement, resin flow stops—helping prevent runoff before light curing
- Improved hydrophilic chemistry works when visible moisture is removed, yet is more tolerant of moisture deep in pits and fissures
