Nova Seal base material light-cure 2.5 g
PRESIDENT NOVASEAL — light-curing glass ionomer cement. Light-curing, radiopaque, single-component cavity liner.
Application
- Prepare the cavity, clean thoroughly and dry
- Shortly before use, place the desired amount of material on the mixing pad
- Do not expose to daylight or operating light — otherwise the material may pre-cure
- With a small round condenser, apply one layer of liner; thickness must not exceed 1 mm
- If a thicker liner is needed, apply and cure in several thin layers
- Apply material only to dentin — do not apply to enamel
- Cure with a halogen lamp; hold the lamp as close as possible to the cavity liner
- When the lamp is about 2 mm from the surface, cure for at least 30 seconds
- Never cure for less than 20 seconds
- Remove stubborn residues remaining on enamel with a rotary instrument
