Handheld battery-powered pulp vitality tester that identifies a vital tooth with a gentle progressive electrical stimulus.
When started, the Digitest 3 microprocessor generates a soft pulsed waveform that automatically increases in power and repeats several times per second. This progressive stimulus aims to elicit a pulp response well below the patient’s pain threshold for accurate readings while keeping the patient comfortable.
