What this product is
NextDent Ortho Rigid is a biocompatible Class IIa material developed so splints can be designed digitally and 3D printed with suitable software for fast, efficient production. Supplied in Clear Blue.
Class IIa biocompatible resin optimized for digital splint design and 3D printing.
Mechanical properties (ISO 20795-2)
- Ultimate flexural strength: minimum 50 MPa; test result 78 MPa
- Flexural modulus: minimum 1500 MPa; test result 2075 MPa
- Maximum stress intensity factor: minimum 1.1 MPa√m; test result 1.1 MPa√m
- Total fracture work: minimum 250 J/m²; test result 262 J/m²
- Water absorption: ≤ 32 µg/mm³; test result 20 µg/mm³
