- Recommended working pressure depending on the procedure: 0.3–2 N
- Excess pressure impairs preparation quality and raises fracture risk
- Burs longer than 19 mm with diameter over 1.8 mm need additional external cooling
- Inadequate cooling harms preparation quality and can damage the turbine handpiece
Product features
- For optimum performance, use manufacturer-recommended speeds
- Overspeed can deform large-head burs and increase breakage risk
- Avoid unnecessary pressure; keep contact minimal to extend bur life
- At 1500 rpm, use at least 50 ml/min water for adequate cooling
- Wear protective eyewear as indicated by the procedure
- Do not store burs on stands or trays that can deform them; discard dull, damaged, bent, or off-axis burs immediately
