What is this product
Ultra X is a state-of-the-art device that facilitates access to complex root canal systems, using the principles of acoustic microstreaming, agitation, and cavitation. Operating at an ultrasonic frequency of 45,000 kHz, this device makes endodontic procedures more effective and safer.

- Effectively breaks down the smear layer and biofilms.
- Opens clogged dentinal tubules and enables cleaning of rough dentinal tubules.
- Increases the effectiveness of irrigants for better results in root canal treatment.
- Usage protocol:
- Root canal preparation:
- Prepare the root canal to the desired tapers.
- Irrigant injection:
- Inject the final rinse solution into the canal using a side-vented needle.
- Device preparation:
- Cover the device with a protective sleeve to prevent surface damage.
- Activator tip selection:
- Select an activator tip that seats passively and is 2–3 mm short of the working length.
- Agitation:
- Agitate the solution with short vertical movements for approximately 30 seconds.
- Take care not to instrument the apical 2 mm.
- Cleaning:
- Complete irrigation and use suction to remove loose debris.
- Repeat agitation and refill:
- Repeat the agitation and refill cycle 4–5 times.
- Additional features:
- Autoclavable parts: Protective sleeves, wrench, and tips are suitable for sterilization.
- Provides a safe and effective solution for the root canal system.
