Base Paste SC Ultra Opaque Porcelain Paste 10 g

Packaging: 10 g plastic jar

Area of use

  • A cream porcelain material that provides strong coverage on the metal surface in porcelain crown and bridge work, eliminating metal shine while also strengthening the metal bond.
  • Its difference from porcelain bonding is that its opacity is higher.

Features

  • After firing, it creates an optimal cream color and provides excellent coverage.
  • Extra covering property does not create thickness on the metal surface after application.
  • Excellent results are obtained by applying a sufficient single layer of opaquer.
  • Plastic jar packaging provides ease of use
  • Its creamy structure converted into emulsion form keeps it homogeneous inside the packaging.
  • Can be used safely with every brand of metal and porcelain powder.
  • Recommended sintering values must be followed to achieve the best result.

BASE PASTE SC

Base Paste SC is a micro-fine (0.01 to 0.02 mm) powder-form material sintered on conventional dental metal alloy crown frameworks for porcelain retention. Oxide-absorbing materials in its structure absorb the oxide layer formed on the metal so that the glassy binder portion forms a stronger bond with the remaining oxide-free metal. Its difference from porcelain bonding is that its opacity is higher.

Application area

Used in metal-ceramic crown and bridge work on chrome-cobalt frameworks. Base Paste SC forms different shades from golden yellow to orange depending on the oxide density of the metal.

Instructions for use — metal preparation

  • Sandblast with aluminum oxide grit.
  • Clean in an ultrasonic bath by boiling in distilled water for 10 minutes, or with steam.
  • Dry the metal framework completely and touch it only with clean tweezers.
  • Then apply homogeneously onto the metal and sinter strictly according to the recommended program.
