EasyPost combines a zirconia-enriched silicone fiber–reinforced epoxy resin composite with a modulus close to dentin flexibility.
Preparation
Simple progressive reaming: central opening with a tungsten-carbide round bur, then finishing with the matching EasyPost precision drill.
Properties
- Registered non-cytotoxic (ISO 10993-5); chemically inert and biocompatible
- Cylindrical-conical form adapted to root-canal anatomy, including narrow canals
- Length adjustable with a diamond disc on the cylindrical portion; slightly pointed tip helps avoid piston effect during cementation
- Radiopaque for visualization and postoperative follow-up
- Supports chemical adhesion with reconstruction composites; mechanical retention like metal posts is not required
