Chema Agatos S Zinc Phosphate Cement Kit – Fast Set
Powder is mainly zinc oxide; liquid is mainly orthophosphoric acid. Mixed in suitable ratios they form alkaline zinc phosphate cement. AGATOS S is intended mainly for cementing crowns, bridges, posts and cores, and for thin or thick liner layers. It can produce a tight seal at the apical opening; for root-canal filling note that the set cement is hard and may be difficult to remove if needed.
- Easy to spatulate; high resistance to compression and erosion after set
- Short setting time, low shrinkage, good adhesion; relatively kind to surrounding tissues
- May also be used as a root-canal filling material before apicectomy
- Meets EN ISO 9917-1; typical mix ≈2 scoops powder : 12 drops liquid at about 23°C / 50% humidity
Knead on the matte side of a glass slab with a stainless-steel or chrome spatula. Close both containers tightly after use.
