Unfilled light-cure resin that seals and refreshes polished composite surfaces.
PermaSeal protects and refreshes composite restorations. It is a light-cure, methacrylate-based, unfilled resin surface sealant.
- Bonds to composite and etched enamel
- Seals microcracks
- Low viscosity for excellent penetration; ultra-thin film minimizes need for occlusal adjustment
- Covers voids and irregularities left by polishing to help reduce staining and wear
- Place on Class V composite margins to help reduce microleakage
- For a glossy finish on resin temporaries, cover with a barrier solution before light-curing
- Bonds well to composite-type temporaries such as ExperTemp and can revitalize older composites
