Endomethasone N root canal sealer — kit

Root canal filling paste for systematic obturation with gutta-percha. Composition per 100.0 g: hydrocortisone acetate 1.0 g; excipients include diiodothymol, barium sulphate, zinc oxide and magnesium stearate.

Properties

• Consider tissue sensitivity to active ingredients when selecting a sealer.
• Fill the canal after mixing without tendency to set prematurely or shrink in the canal.
• Antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effect continues for several hours after placement.
• Radiopaque.
• At the apex, eugenol-containing paste that contacts soft tissue is slowly absorbed before full set.

Use

• Isolate the tooth (cotton or rubber dam). After canal preparation, disinfect with an antiseptic solution, rinse and dry with paper points.
• Mix powder gradually with eugenol to a petroleum-jelly-like paste. For best results use 7 parts powder to 1 part liquid, mixed for 40 seconds.
• Fill the canal with a Lentulo spiral.

Cautions

• Only fill canals that are properly prepared, cleaned and disinfected.
• Overfilling the apex may cause pain; contact with salivary glands may cause allergy — rinse thoroughly with water if this occurs.

Presentation & storage

• Presented in bottles containing 14 g powder.
• Store below 25 °C, protected from moisture.
