Depending on the procedure, the recommended working pressure for burs is between 0.3 and 2 N.
Excessive pressure negatively affects preparation quality and increases the risk of bur fracture.
Burs longer than 19 mm with a diameter of 1.8 mm require additional external cooling.
Without adequate cooling, preparation quality suffers and the turbine handpiece may be damaged.
