IPS Style is based on newly developed glass ceramics containing leucite, fluorapatite and oxyapatite. It is the first dental ceramic material to include oxyapatite crystals. These crystals reflect a high amount of light and give restorations natural-looking depth.

IPS Style Ceram Powder Opaquer 870 is an opaque ceramic that masks the metal framework and establishes the base shade. IPS Style is an innovative ceramic system for metal-ceramic restorations from anterior crowns to multi-unit bridges, supporting high firing stability, minimal shrinkage and natural aesthetics. Materials for the conventional veneering technique are included.

Indications

• Conventional multilayer veneering ceramic for popular dental alloys (including electroforming) CTE 13.8–15.2 x 10-6/K (25–500°C)
• Single-layer veneering (IPS Style Ceram One) in the same CTE range
• Veneers on refractory die material (IPS Style Ceram only)
• Characterization with Ivocolor Shade and Essence; glazing with Ivocolor Glaze

Contraindications

• Bruxism
• Veneering titanium and zirconium oxide frameworks
• Uses not listed in the indications
