758L Perio Bur
Diamond-tipped dental burs for odontoplasty and mechanical root planing in periodontal therapy.
Indications
- Curettage of the root surface in deep pockets, in two- and/or three-wall or approximal areas
- Removal of firmly adherent granules
- Removal of calculus (subgingival plaque)
- Periosteal ablation during flap surgery
Non-cutting hexagonal head — as gentle as a hand instrument and as fast as diamonds. At least 30–50 periodontal treatments can be performed with each instrument. Use at 7,000–10,000 rpm with light pressure and water spray.
Benefits
- Better access to difficult areas (furcations, roots in deep periodontal pockets)
- Ideal for homogeneous soft root surfaces
- Root surface cleaning and polishing for periodontitis treatment — supragingival and subgingival plaque and superficial endotoxin-containing cementum layers must be fully cleaned; this is a prerequisite for periodontal tissue regeneration
