What is the Product

HELIODENT Plus (Heliodent Plus) is an intraoral (periapical) X-ray device manufactured by Dentsply Sirona / Sirona. It provides fast and safe intraoral imaging with a DC high-frequency generator and can be used with film, phosphor plates, and digital sensors.

It features a 0.4 mm focal spot (IEC 336 / IEC 60336), selectable tube voltage of 60 kV / 70 kV, and a tube current of 7 mA. It uses high voltage generation with a DC high-frequency unit.

Usage and Installation Flexibility

It adapts to the clinic layout with three different arm lengths and many mounting options. Detector media can be freely selected for transition from film to digital radiography.
