Controlled airflow keeps the mirror surface continuously clear for uninterrupted vision and workflow. Air is directed through the hollow handle and exits as a strong, effective stream from a thin horizontal slit just above the mirror. An adjustment knob lets you set airflow from gentle to strong.
Handles and mirror heads are fully autoclaveable and reusable for a long time. The rear end of the handle is magnetic and connects to a removable magnetic coupler with a very thin, light silicone air hose. Weight is barely noticeable in use, and the flexible hose does not hinder mirror angulation. After treatment, the used handle and mirror are removed, the connection point is wiped clean, and a disinfected new handle and mirror are attached so you are ready for the next patient.
